It’s a bird! It’s a plane! ️ It’s a… rocket! This unmanned rocket launched from Virginia Beach at 9:59am today. Its mission? Deliver 8000 pounds of supplies to the International Space Station and then return to earth. ? . This picture was taken by Katie on the rooftop sundeck at the Boarding House. At one point, the rocket was directly over the hotel. The rocket’s contrail ended as it reached the upper atmosphere, but we could still see the rocket and the sun reflecting off its exterior. ️ .
